Prior to joining the Baking School in 2021, he spent ten years in King Arthur\u2019s production bakery. He is one of a small number of bakers certified by the Bread Baker\u2019s Guild of America and was a member of the team that travelled to Paris in 2018 to represent the United States at the F\u00eate du Pain. He received his master\u2019s degree in writing and literature from Bennington College and his poems, reviews, and essays have appeared in the\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003EBest New Poets\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/em\u003Eanthology series,\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003ESalt Hill\u003C\/em\u003E,\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003EThe Columbia Review,\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/em\u003Eand elsewhere. He is also a Poetry Editor at\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003EThe Caf\u00e9 Review\u003C\/em\u003E.
